about

this song is about the loneliness of the creative minded people in the world

some are trying to connect with an intangible creative spirit that is only perpetuated by the creative process

there's a magic stream of consciousness that only work/play can tap into, uncover, pull from - whatever it may be it's there if you are open to allowing it to use you as a beacon. it will give you ideas, it will give you your truth. and if you're not ready for it or not willing to take it, it will go to the next creative working on things.

talk to me is a calling for that force. creativity has been my life, its my dna at this point, i can't live without it. if i didn't have it during the difficult times, i don't know where or what i would be now.

do you think of me? because i always think of you. creativity is an wonderful and intrusive thought. i'm ok with.

and when you've caught that smoke and created something the process starts over. don't say it's the end. i've enjoyed this part of the work. don't say you're leaving.

it's nice because this song could totally be about a break up for anyone, so anyone can relate to the basic messages throughout the track.

lyrics

talk to me and tell me
that anything could turn out right
cause i don't know how
to survive on my own

talk to me and tell me
anything that's true
cause i don't know who i am
without you by my side

do you even think of me?
burning out here alone
smoke will get in your eyes
so everyone won't see you cry

talk to me and tell me anything
but don't say you're leaving
talk to me and tell me anything
but don't say it's over
talk to me and tell me anything
but don't say I'm leaving
talk to me and tell me anything
but don't say it's over

alternate bridge:
do you even think of me?
drowning out here alone
floods will get in your eyes
so everyone won't see you cry
